Aqara can now be purchased at Apple Store... in China

We are approaching that future shown in science fiction films in the eighties. There are still no flying cars that can do without the roads, but there is the possibility of controlling the operation of certain devices only with the power of our voice.

Although for the first two there is a great variety of compatible accessories, there are not so many for the HomeKit ecosystem of the Cupertino. And those that exist are much more expensive than those of the competition. This is one of the reasons why other systems are used before yours.

Luckily, Asian brands such as Aqara are starting to be compatible with HomeKit. In fact, they can now be purchased at the Apple Store in China.

Aqara devices are now available at the Chinese Apple Store

A total of 42 stores in China make Aqara products available to consumers. These are not exactly new, as they can be purchased through AliExpress with shipping to many parts of the world, although this may involve an additional cost for transportation costs.

This is the first step in making Aqara products available in countries where Apple stores exist. In Spain they can be purchased on websites such as Amazon through a variety of vendors, although not in an "official" manner. It offers light bulbs and motion sensors, among others.

According to official news, the Aqara eu hub could arrive in Auguest 2019, so we wouldn't have to deal with adapter messes.
